Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot (Paris, September 28, 1934) is a
French photographic model, actress and singer. A mischievous
“romper” and frivolous pin-up girl, she very quickly made an
international furor, and especially in Europe she was an icon of the
1950s. As a sex symbol, she was a French answer to the American
Marilyn Monroe (MM).
