Michael William Kaluta (born August 25, 1947 in Guatemala) is an American illustrator, painter and cartoonist.
Kaluta is a name of Russian origin. His family moved to Virginia and he studied at the Richmond Professional Institute (now Virginia Commonwealth University).
His career began in 1969 in New York when he met Al Williamson at DC Comics.
