Chris Achilleos was born in Famagusta, Cyprus, before his family moved to the United Kingdom in 1959, where Achilleos spent the rest of his life. He studied at Hornsey College of Art.
His work has been published in magazines, book covers and video games. He also acted as a conceptual artist in the making of several films.
In 1979, he designed the controversial album cover for the British band Whitesnake’s album Lovehunter.
