Julie Bell – Valley of the Snake Ladies
Julie Bell (Beaumont, Texas, 1958) is an American painter and sculptor. Thanks to her powerful physical appearance, Julie has also been a model for the paintings of her husband, the well-known epic fantasy illustrator Boris Vallejo.
Julie has illustrated covers for nearly 100 fantasy and science fiction books and magazines since 1990. She and her husband have done advertising work for companies such as Nike, Coca-Cola and Toyota. Although she is best known for her heroic fantasy works she also does hyper-realistic paintings of wild animals.
