Wayne Barlowe
Wayne Douglas Barlowe (born January 6, 1958 in Glen Cove, New York) is an American science fiction and fantasy artist and author.
He has illustrated over 300 books and magazines. He has also worked as a concept artist for several films.
In 2004, the Discovery Channel produced a two-hour fictional documentary programme called Alien Planet, based on Barlowe’s book Expedition, about an expedition to an unknown planet. It first aired in May 2005.
