Frank Frazetta (Brooklyn (New York), February 9, 1928 – May 10, 2010) was an American illustrator of fantasy and science fiction, known for his book covers, comics, paintings, posters and record sleeves. A documentary was made about him in 2003.
Frazetta was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1995 and into the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1999 for his contributions to the comic book industry.
