Larry Elmore (Louisville, Kentucky, August 5, 1948)1 is an American artist specializing in heroic fantasy and role-playing game illustration.
The American publisher TSR hired him to do many of the illustrations for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game during the 1980s. He also collaborated in the conception of the fictional universe of Krynn, for the Dragonlance saga, and created the comic Snarfquest for Dragon magazine.
